At a recent Zoom discussion hosted by World Can’t Wait on “The film Oppenheimer & Lessons for NOW,” Joe Urgo, We Are Not Your Soldiers presenter, was invited to speak. Joe, Vietnam veteran and organizer of the 1971 Winter Soldiers Investigation, talked about his experiences guarding nuclear weapons as well as a subsequent visit to Hiroshima where he met with hibakusha (survivors of the bombs) and representatives of the North Vietnamese government, before making a wartime visit to Hanoi.
